Aum Sri Sairam!
This morning, the Tarnaka Samithi Sevadals gathered at Ashritha Kalpa, their hearts brimming with enthusiasm. Their turn had come to perform their sacred duty, to extend their hands and hearts in service. As a usual routine, they sang Bhajans and offered Harathi to Swami. For them, it was yet another, regular Service day, but destiny had penned down something sudden, unusual, and extraordinary for them.
Amongst the hubbub of clinking utensils and laughter, a distinguished figure walked into Ashritha Kalpa. Draped in elegance and emanating a graceful presence, it was none other than the Deputy Mayor of GHMC - Smt. Mothe Srilatha Shoban Reddy. Her sudden visit was like a gentle breeze that stirred the leaves and filled the air with excitement.
Her eyes, gleaming with curiosity, took in everything—the sparkling clean Dining Hall, the rows of filled plates, and the faces filled with determination and compassion. Her presence was neither intrusive nor commanding; instead, it was a humble exploration of humanity in its purest form.
The Deputy Mayor didn't just stand and observe; she rolled up her sleeves and became one with the Sevadals. Unhesitant and gracious, she adorned the service scarf, a symbol of humility and selflessness. Her hands worked in unison with the others, scooping, serving, and smiling.
She took her time to interact with the inmates, listening to their stories, and sharing their pain and hope. Her words were neither rehearsed nor diplomatic; they were spontaneous and heartfelt. With each conversation, a connection grew, a bond that went beyond titles and status.
The Sevadal thanked her for the visit, in spite of her hectic, busy schedule. Upon their request, she very happily partook in the Banana Prasadam and thanked them for making her day beautiful, and for being a part of the noble service.
As the day wore on, Ashritha Kalpa was filled with new energy, an inspiration that resonated with every heart. The Deputy Mayor's commendation was not a mere formality; it was an acknowledgment, an affirmation that what was happening in that humble abode was something remarkable, something that transcended human definitions and limitations. Sevadal responded to her kind words saying it's all possible only because of Bhagawan's Infinite Grace!
As she took her leave, Ashritha Kalpa continued to resonate with her presence, her words still echoing in the air, "Your service here is a testament to the goodness that resides in human hearts. Continue to shine, continue to love, continue to heal."
And the Sevadal of Tarnaka Samithi knew that this day, this unusual encounter would remain etched in their memories forever. For they had touched a life, and in return, they had been touched by wisdom, grace, and a shared love for humanity.
Jai Sairam!!
