Grand 18th Skill Development Tailoring Convocation

Under the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithis, Koti Samithi, Hyderabad, successfully concluded 100 days of skill development tailoring training for the 18th batch from May 23, 2023, to September 9, 2023. The convocation ceremony for the Skill Development Tailoring batch was held on September 11, 2023, at the Bhajan Hall of the Shivam Temple in Vidyanagar.

The event commenced with Veda chanting from 12:15  followed by Bhajans and Hanuman Chalisa recitation. Convener Mr. Vishweshwar Shastry warmly welcomed the chief guests, and devotees of Swami, especially Mrs. Sharmada.

In the program, Mrs. Sharma expressed her immense joy and gratitude to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and the Convener for extending their support, not only in teaching various aspects of tailoring but also in providing sewing machines to many needy individuals.

Furthermore, Mrs. Humera Taskin, a trainee,  taught slokas from the Quran and explained their meanings. She, along with Lavanya, Juveria, Jhansi Rani, Kavitha, Bhavika, Saba Begum, Shakila Katoon, Muskan Begum, Pooja, and Vanitha, demonstrated different aspects of tailoring, instilling a sense of service among all.

Convener Visweshwar Shastry, in his closing remarks, expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the 18th Skill Development Tailoring Convocation and urged all present to strive for higher attainments, not only in their skills but also in their economic well-being. He encouraged everyone to participate in various service programs in their respective centers, infusing strength into the Sai mission.
