NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS BY KOTI SAMITHI BALVIKAS CHILDREN.
In today's Balvikas class, on December 31, 2023, after chanting bhajans, reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, glorifying the sacred ash, and offering prayers, a New Year Message from Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was shared in a way that resonates with Balvikas children.
"Every moment is a new year - new years, new months bring us joy, sorrow, and difficulties, but it doesn't linger. Every second becomes a fresh experience, like a new moment. It's not just a second; it's not just a minute. Minutes lead to hours. Hours lead to days. Days lead to months. Months lead to years. So, this year is nothing but a collection of moments, and every moment is sanctified when we experience it as such. Therefore, this year, the new year is based on each moment, making our actions, thoughts, and behavior more auspicious. The result of that is the outcome of our year."
After Swami's message, a cake was cut, and everyone extended their best wishes to each other. Swami, after imparting His message, motivated them to incorporate His teachings into their daily lives promptly. Even the mothers of the children participated. Convenor, Balvikas Guru, speaking with mothers, the children were advised not to use smartphones and television without supervision, and to avoid looking at unhealthy things, especially while eating. The entire gathering, including Baaleshwar, Akhileshwar, Niharika, Ashrit, Supriya, Kartik, Ashrit, Sanhit, Ananya, Satwik, and their parents , Program concluded by offering Mangala Harathi to Swami, achieving success.
