Brief Write up on Program

With the Divine Blessings of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba varu, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Himayath Nagar samithi, kickstarted a graphic design training program on May 12th, 2024, for 25 young women as part of their skill development and training initiative.

The program was inaugurated by Ms. Sri Kala, In-charge of Skill Development for Hyderabad district (Mahila), with a lamp-lighting ceremony. In her opening speech, addressing the young women, Ms. Sri Kala expressed her hope that everyone would learn with devotion and dedication in this divinely-inspired training program, aiming to rise from their current level to even greater heights. She informed them that the program goes beyond just graphic design training and will include sessions on human values every Sunday. She encouraged all the participants to actively participate in all the programs and strive to lead righteous lives on their life's path.

Prior to the inaugural ceremony, the Mahila members of the Samithi recited Vedic mantras and sang melodious bhajans, seeking the blessings of Swami.
Addressing the gathering, Convener Sri Ramakrishna announced that the program commenced on May 12, 2024, and will continue till June 15, 2024. He urged the participants to actively participate in the program and bring laurels to themselves, their parents, the organization, and their teachers. He informed the trainees that the theory classes would be held from 8 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by practical sessions till 12:30 PM.

Spiritual and human values classes continued for four Sundays as part of the program.
The first Sunday commenced with a discourse by renowned spiritual scholar Brahmasri V S R Murthy. In his address, Sri Murthy spoke on various aspects of spirituality and its connection to personal growth, guiding the trainees on their path of self-development.

On the second Sunday, State Skill Development In-charge Ms. Madhavi Latha graced the event and addressed the participants. She expressed her hope that all the trainees would achieve top positions in their respective fields due to the skills they were acquiring.

Similarly, Sri Sai Gollapudi garu addressed that unawareness and misunderstandings can lead to conflict. To overcome this, we should cultivate habits of understanding, adjustment, and cooperation. By doing so, we can foster love for everyone in our daily lives. Let's always remember this important formula.

Smt. Vasundhara Ayyagari, a former student of Swami, spoke on the topic of nutrition, explaining in detail the types of food we should and should not consume, along with their benefits and drawbacks, using numerous examples that resonated with the audience.

The concluding ceremony and convocation, held on June 15th at the Samithi office in Himayat Nagar, was a grand affair, with certificates distributed to all the participants in the presence of dignitaries.

In this concluding ceremony, what particularly captivated everyone was a skit performed by the trainees, showcasing the knowledge they had acquired during the 30-day training program, earning them well-deserved applause.

District President Sri A Malleshwar Rao, Skill Development National Coordinator Dr. Krishna Kumar, Dr. Venkat Rao, Hyderabad District Educational Coordinator Mrs. Manchala Latha, and Hyderabad District Spiritual Coordinator Mrs. Kameshwari, along with other dignitaries, presented certificates to the 18 participants who had successfully completed the 30 days ( 165 Hours )  Skill Development and Graphic Design training program.

Prominent industrialist, Sri Kalajyothi Printers, Hyderabad, offered employment opportunities to two trainees in Graphic Design, Ms. S Mounika and Ms. P Jyothi, by presenting them with appointment letters to join their printing firm.

The program concluded on a triumphant note with the trainee young women offering a Mangala Harathi  to Sri Sathya Sai Baba Varu.
