Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations Celebrate Guru Purnima with Grand Festivities

The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, under the aegis of the Koti Samithi, organised grand celebrations for Guru Purnima, blessed by the divine grace of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The event took place at the Bhajan Mandir premises of the Sri Sathya Sai Koti Samithi in Gowliguda Chaman.

The Festivities Begin with a Pallaki Seva

The celebrations commenced with a grand procession carrying a palanquin (pallaki seva) from the Sri Rama Mandir. A large number of devotees, including Bal Vikas children and Koti Samithi members, participated in this procession with immense devotion.

Events Filled with Devotion and Faith

The program featured devotional singing (bhajans), hymns (kirtans), speeches, and distribution of gifts to children. Devotees participated in these events with utmost devotion and faith, seeking the blessings of Swami.

99 Days of Continuous Bhajans

A significant highlight of the event was the announcement of a 99-day continuous bhajan program to commemorate the 99th birth anniversary of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. These bhajans will be held daily, rotating between different houses and centers.

Recitation of Hanuman Chalisa

The 99-day program will also include the daily recitation of Hanuman Chalisa. Bal Vikas students and beneficiaries of the National Narayana Seva will actively participate in this recitation.

Service Activities Mark the Occasion

The Koti Samithi also conducted various service activities to mark Guru Purnima. One such activity involved visiting Ashritha Kalpa and offering healthcare services to the sick residing there.

Prominent Participants

The program witnessed the participation of prominent personalities like Sri Vishweshwara Sastri (Convener of Koti Samithi), Sri Gubba Sagar, Sri Rati Rao Patil, Sri Prabhakar, Sri Naidu, Sri Ramchander,  Smt. Renuka, Smt. Kalpana, Smt. Saileshwari, kum Ashritha, and Sri Akshay khirodkar etc., 

A Grand Conclusion

The Guru Purnima celebrations organised by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations, Koti Samithi, were a grand success, leaving devotees filled with spiritual joy and blessings.
