Sri Sathya Sai Youth Empowerment Series at City College, Hyderabad.

A grand event, the Sri Sathya Sai Youth Empowerment Series, was successfully conducted at City College, Hyderabad on September 26, 2024. The program commenced at 12 noon under the Divine blessings of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Varu.

Key Highlights of the Event:

• Inauguration and Welcome: The program was inaugurated with a formal introduction of the Hyderabad District President and the College Principal, Dr. Bala Bhaskar.
• Lighting the lamp: “The lamp was ceremoniously lit by distinguished guests including the Hyderabad District President, Sri A. Malleshwara Rao; the City College Vice Principal, Dr. Viplav Dat Shukla; NSS Officers Dr. D Nagaraju and Dr. L. Tirupathi; Dr. Krishna Chandra Keerthy; and the Samithi Convener.”.
• The event commenced with a warm welcome address by  P. Visweswara Sastry, the Convener of the Koti Samithi. He elaborated on the history of the college, its association with NSS, and the numerous initiatives undertaken under the guidance of the Hyderabad District President.
• Dr. D. Nagaraju and Dr. L. Tirupathi shared their experiences with Sivam and Baba, while Dr. Krishna Chandra Keerthy recited inspiring poems dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The Vice Principal, Dr. Viplav Dat Shukla, explained the significance of the mantra "Asato ma sad gamaya, tamaso ma jyotir gamaya, mrtyor ma amritam gamaya," emphasizing the importance of selfless service..
• Sathya Sai Seva ORGANISATIONS & NSS  : The Hyderabad District President, Sri A. Malleshwara Rao, highlighted the various service initiatives undertaken by the Sathya Sai Seva Organizations, drawing parallels with the commendable service rendered by the NSS students. He detailed a wide range of activities, including disaster management, music therapy, spoken English classes, medical camps, educational tours, and various awareness programs.
• Interactive Session: The event provided a platform for interactive sessions, allowing students to seek guidance and support for their future endeavors. The District President assured the students of comprehensive support in various fields, including career counseling and skill development.
• Conclusion: The program concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of all the participants, speakers, and organizers. The organizers expressed their gratitude to the College Principal, NSS officers, and other dignitaries for their support.

Overall, the event was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and inspiring the youth to contribute towards a better society. The program underscored the importance of spiritual values and selfless service, emphasizing the transformative power of education and holistic development.
