By the Abundant Grace of Bhagwan,Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Sivam,Hyderabad is blessed with a unique Seva opportunity. Bhagwan, in his infinite compassion, has named this is Seva as Sri Sathya Sai Aashritha Kalpa, meaning he would fulfil all the desires yes of those who surrender to him.
The intent of the Seva is to provide nutritious food and a healthy atmosphere to the attendants of patients admitted in MNJ Cancer Hospital Hyderabad. The hospital has provided for an accommodation which has been named as Ashram. On the auspicious occasion of Easwaramma Day in the year 2022 i.e, on 6/5/2022 the Ashram was inaugurated by The Convenor Sri Sathya Sai Trust: AP & TS, Shri HJ Dora Garu, President Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisations, Telangana Shri P Venkat Rao Garu, Director MNJ Cancer Hospital Dr Smt. Jaya Latha Garu. and Dist President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisations, Hyderabad Sri A.Malleswara Rao. ASHRITHA KALPA
In the past one year the Ashram has served more than 3851 inmates. 1465 Mahila Sevadal, 1431 Gents Sevadal and 282 Youth Sevadal participated. A total number of 3178 Seva Dal participated in 24/7 Seva. Needless to mention that Mahila Seva Dal are leading in numbers in
this Seva also. Total 47788 meals were served through out the year.
Several facilities were added by the organisation to the centre like water coolers, smart Television, exhaust fans and sleeping mats to the inmates. The inmates are daily
engaged in healthy conversation by our Seva Dal, they are encouraged to take part in the daily activities in the Ashram, they are taught several exercises to keep them fit and healthy, the idea being to provide an environment where the inmates of the Ashram, who are in a distraught situation in their life, feel encouraged to fight the situation and get confidence to deal with the disease of their family member.
A very large number of the inmates who had spent about 10 to 15 days in Ashram, while leaving have expressed extreme happiness with the Seva at the Ashram, & profusely thanked Bhagawan for the facility. Several festivals were celebrated in the Ashram involving the inmates of the Ashram and thus bringing joy in their lives.
By Abundant Grace of Bhagwan the Ashram has successfully completed one year today 6/5/2023 and the organisation is celebrating the same on the Holy occasion of Easwaramma Day by offering Gratitude to Bhagawan and also Mother Easwaramma, by distributing clothes to the inmates of the Ashram, offering a feast of lunch to the inmates of the Ashram. All inmates performed tandularchana. Many of the inmates shared their experiences too.
Today's program was presided over by Shri HJ Dora Garu and Dr JayaLatha was the chief guest.Dr Jayalatha expressed her immense happiness at the conduct of the Ashram by Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisations and had requested the organisation to take up more numbers in view of the increase in the number of patients.
