Day1 – Evening

The evening program commenced with an auspicious start as the soul-stirring Vedam chanting resonated through the venue, gracefully performed by the Sivam Vedam group. The divine atmosphere was further enhanced by the traditional lighting of the lamp, a sacred ritual carried out by esteemed guests representing both the gentlemen and ladies.

The lamp lighting ceremony was an manifestation of spiritual illumination, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of divine light. The luminous flame, kindled by our esteemed guests, illuminated the surroundings, creating an ambience of serenity and tranquillity.

Following this sacred commencement, the District President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Hyderabad, Sri A.Malleswar garu took the stage to extend a warm welcome to all devotees. In his address, he provided a comprehensive overview of the upcoming week-long celebrations, outlining the various events and activities planned to commemorate this special occasion.

Special Offering: "Sri Sathya Sai Akshaya Dhara"
An impactful moment was the offering of kitchen equipment by SSSIHL Alumni (Gents) in the name of "Sri Sathya Sai Akshaya Dhara." This initiative reflects the commitment to selfless service and the promotion of sustainability in line with the teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Sri Sathya Sai Akshaya Dhara represents a remarkable project initiated by the alumni of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. This initiative aims to establish a state-of-the-art kitchen within the Ashram's premises.

The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations in Sivam, Hyderabad, received the honor of providing for the caretakers of inpatients at the MNJ Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad. Over the last eighteen months, this kitchen at Sivam has been diligently preparing meals and offering them as prasadam to the residents of the Ashram.Till date about 70,000(about seventy thousand) meals have been provided.

In a bid to enhance the kitchen's capabilities, alumni of the Sai Institute have generously contributed towards the creation of an advanced kitchen facility, valued at approximately Rs.13 lakhs. This modern kitchen will be installed within the premises to ensure the efficient preparation and distribution of meals, tailored to the varying needs of the Ashram's residents.

We sincerely pray for Bhagawan's blessings to be bestowed upon the Sai students for their noble efforts and for the continual well-being of the Ashram's inhabitants.
