Krodhi Nama Savatsara Ugadi Celebrations

Sri Krodhi Nama Samvatsara Ugadi celebrations at Sivam, Hyderabad were marked by a series of traditional rituals and cultural activities.

The day began with  early morning prayers at  5 am, starting with Omakaram, Subrabhatam, Nagara Sankeertana followed by distribution of ugadi special Pachadi to all devotees.

Then the devotees chanted Vedam followed by  Ekavara Rudrabhishekam to Sayeeseara Lingam and kumkumarchana to Sri Chakram at Sanctum sanatorium.

In the evening session, the festivities commenced with Gow Maata Pooja with traditional Sannayi melam, Vedic chanting, and Jyothi Prakashanam. 
Sri A Malleswara Rao garu, District President of SSSSO, Hyderabad, delivered the welcome address which also included the Sivam glory. 
This was followed by a report submission by Sri Gopal garu, Convenor, Maredpalli samiti and cultural activities performed by Balavikas children showcasing their talents.

The highlight of the evening was Panchanga Sravanam, delivered by Brahma Sri Vedantam Shreepathi Sharma, providing insights into the year's predictions connecting it to our Bhagwan's blessings. The event also honored a group of Vedic scholars who excel in the four Vedas: Rigveda, Yajurveda, Sama Veda and Atharvana Veda. These scholars offered veda Aseervachanam to the all devotees.

The celebrations continued with Bhajans followed by the Divine discourse of our Bhagwan, Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The event concluded with Mangala Harathi and  prasadam.
The entire day was a beautiful amalgamation of spirituality, culture and community spirit, reflecting the rich heritage and traditions of Ugadi.
